I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw the CHANEL Noir et Blanc fall/winter 2019 collection. If you follow me on my Instagram, you maybe understand why. I don’t believe there is anyone else who loves black and white as much as I do, so you can imagine my happiness. Today I will be reviewing and swatching almost the entire collection and I can warn you: you’re going to have a long wishlist!
“Women think of all colours except the absence of colour. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.” Gabrielle Chanel
FACE & BODY
Let’s start off with the must-have of the collection, Le Gel Pailetté: a transparant shimmering gel that melts into skin, embellishing it with a sparkly veil. You can use it on the face, shoulders and the décolleté to create and reflect light. Just don’t use it on your lips, if you wanna go sparkly there, stay tuned for a special gloss later in this review!

EYES
Ombre Prèmiere Top Coat – Carte Blanche (317)
Ombre Prèmiere Top Coat – Penombre (327)
Les 4 Ombres – Noir Supreme (322)
Not only the face is glowing, but so are the eyes! You can go for a glamorous look with one of the new Ombre Première Top Coats. You can wear these alone or use as a top coat on another eyeshadow. Or you can go for a seductive smokey look with the Les 4 Ombres in Noir Supreme. Don’t be afraid of the dark shades, the colors are very creamy and super blendable! Finish your eyelook with the Le Volume Ultra-Noir de Chanel Mascara.
LIPS
Rouge Coco Gloss – Crystal Clear (814)
Rouge Allure Liquid Powder – Bois de Nuit (978)
Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme – Rouge Obscur (130)
When it comes to the lips, there are many different directions you could go for in this collection. But if I could only pick one favorite lipproduct it would be the Rouge Allure Liquid Powder in Bois de Nuit. It’s the most perfect my lips but better color and the texture feels extremly soft on your lips. If you wanna go for a bit more glam, than the Rouge Coco Glosses and the Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme are perfect. I especially love the Crystal Clear gloss with shimmers. I haven’t seen CHANEL releasing something like this the past years, so if you’re eyeing it, you have to be fast!
NAILS
“I love the power of black and white. I like the idea that they could almost be seen as quite abstract and yet are so clear.” Lucia Pica
Le Vernis – Pure White (711)
Le Vernis – Pure Black (713)
Complete your look with one of the two (or both) nail polishes from this collection. My favorite one is Le Vernis Pure White. I have been looking for a good white nail polish for a long time, because most of them are not pigmented enough. When I tried Pure White I was very curious to see if it would be the same. But after just applying two thin coats of the polish, I was already done! So I can definitely recommend this one for the fall/winter, especially with the limited edition white packaging. Le Vernis Pure Black is also pigmented and requires just two coats as well.

Lovely products! I’m excited about the little eyeshadow quad, it looks stunning.
