FASHION MUSTHAVES – SPRING EDITION

The  new spring collections are starting to arrive at stores and warehouses, but outside it has never been so cold. Even though it’s technically still winter,  I always feel the need to start sorting out my wardrobe for the new season when March arrives. And after sorting out and cleaning my wardrobe, I always like to treat myself with a bit of shopping. Today I will be showing you a few classic items that I recently got for spring, and I can’t wait to wear them soon. I try to go for items that are not only trendy, but timeless as well.

Shoes – Vagabond

The classic and comfortable Marilyn loafer never goes out of style. Inspired by men’s shoes but with a destinctively feminine last, this black suede loafer, decorated with a gold-toned buckle, is a wardrobe staple.

You can’t ever go wrong with a classic black coat, a white blouse and a pair of suede loafers. I like to wear my sunglasses all year round, even during the colder spring days. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have noticed that already! The white blouse isn’t just a regular blouse, since you can tie it around your waist. If you have an hourglass or a pear shape, it will truly look amazing. It’s definitely one of my favorite pieces of clothing lately, since it’s fun but still work proof!

From Footway I received these suede black loafers with gold hardware (in the style Marilyn) from the brand Vagabond! I discovered this brand last season, when I bought a pair of boots and this season they came out with a great collection as well. Last year we have seen loafers all over the catwalk and online and now they are making a comeback as well. It’s one of the trends that I have been liking the most when it comes down to shoes. Not only are they very comfortable to walk in, but you can also wear and combine it with anything in your closet. When it comes down to a smart casual look, I always prefer loafers instead of heels! It’s an absolute musthave this season for in your warderobe. Some of the loafers in the spring collection come in a pop of color, such as bright pink or even red. If your outfit is already very neutral, it can be fun to mix and match with an item like that. The pink loafers from Vagabond are definitely on my wishlist as well, but first let’s wait or the warmer weather!
