Spring is finally here! The weather is getting better, which means it’s time to swap your winter coat for your spring coat. But besides swapping your warderobe, it’s also time to switch your fragrance. So many new fragrances have launched this year so far, which can be make it a bit difficult to choose. That’s why today I’m showing you thé top 10 of the newest musthave fragrances, that you absolutely need to try for spring!
Chanel
CHANEL – COCO MADEMOISELLE – EAU DE PARFUM INTENSE – 50 ML – € 103,00
Category: oriental woody
Time: day & night
Top notes: Sicilian Orange, Bergamot, Lemon
Heart notes: Rose, Jasmin
Base notes: Patchouli, Tonka Bean, Madagascar Vanilla, White Musk
The new Coco Mademoiselle Intense is amplified by an extreme dose of Patchouli and an Amber accord that combines Tonka Bean and Vanilla from Madagascar. A powerful, deep, irresistible composition. It’s warm, soft, feminine, rebellious and sexy at the same time. It still has that bit of a freshness, but it does not last as long as the original. This new fragrance is perfect for people who already like the Coco Mademoiselle fragrance but even for people who do not. Just like Olivier Polge said, it’s close to the original formula, but with a complete new dimension. Another thing that I noticed straight away, is how long lasting the new fragrance is on the skin. I’m in love and will definitely wear Coco Mademoiselle a lot more now!
Chloé
CHLOÉ – NOMADE – EAU DE PARFUM – 50 ML – € 84,44
Category: chypre floral
Time: day
Top notes: Mirabelle, Bergamot, Lemon, Orange
Heart notes: Freesia, Rose, Peach, Jasmine
Base notes: Oakmoss, Amberwood, Patchouli, Sandalwood, White Musk
This new Chloé fragrance is nothing like the other Chloé fragrances that we have seen before. Instead of soft and powdery it’s bold and musky! I like how Chloé took a risk and suprised us all with something completly new. Nomade is definitely an unique fragrance and not similair to any fragrances that I know or have in my collection. It smells woody with a warm fruity twist and gives me a bit of a vintage vibe. The dry down is a bit softer and less fruity, but more musky. Nomade is very long lasting and has an amazing sillage, after hours you will still notice the fragrance on your skin! No need to touch up!
Dolce&Gabbana
Dolce&Gabbana – Dolce Garden – Eau de Parfum – 50 ml – € 83,00
Category: floral fruity gourmand
Time: day
Top notes: Mandarin Orange, Neroli, Magnolia
Heart notes: Ylang-ylang, Coconut, Frangipani
Base notes: Almond Milk, Vanilla, Sandalwood
Don’t be fooled by the innocent pastel pink shade of the is fragrance… it might surprise you by how playful it is! When you first spray it on, it will make you feel like you are on a tropical island drinking a pina colada! It’s intense and it’s sweet, it’s not a fragrance for everyone, but if you like the combination of coconut and vanilla, this is the pérfect fragrance for you. After the good dose of coconut, the fragrances settles a bit down. The dry down is much more creamy and floral, which is a very good balance in combination with the sweet topnotes. I can’t wait to wear this during my holiday when I’m going to the beach. The best part about it, is that it is also very longlasting on the skin!
Hugo Boss
Boss The Scent – Parfum Edition for her – 50 ml – € 100,00
Category: oriental floral
Time: night
Top notes: Peach, Freesia
Heart notes: Osmanthus, Labdanum
Base note: Cacao
I already loved the original The Scent fragrance from Hugo Boss and now they came out with a very special Parfum Edition. If you are looking for an oriental and unique fragrance for night time, this is it! Boss The Scent Parfum Edition smells like pure peach and cacao. At first I thought it was a combination of peach and leather, but it’s much softer than that. I have never noticed cacao before in a fragrance, which makes it a very unique and fun combination. I like to combine this fragrance with the original The Scent, to make it last extra long on my skin the entire day!
Kenzo
Kenzo World – Eau de Toilette – 50 ml – € 72,00
Category: floral fruity
Time: day
Top note: Pear
Heart notes: Almond Blossom, Peony
Base note: Orris Root
I couldn’t stop wearing Kenzo World Eau de Parfum Intense during the winter period. Now they have realeased a new version: Kenzo World Eau de Toilette. A fragrance that is completly different than the original version. First off, I really like how they decided to switch up the color of the packaging to soft pink. It completly matches the fragrance itself and it looks so unique. It’s a musthave fragrance for all peony lovers out there.
Lancôme
Lancôme – La Nuit Trésor – À la Folie Eau de Parfum – 50 ml – € 90,00
Category: oriental vanilla
Time: night

If you are a big fan of the La Nuit Trésor fragrances from Lancôme, then you will love this new version: à la folie, as well. It’s an extremly sweet night fragrance, which might not be likeable for everyone. I usually am not a big fan of fragrances like these, but I just love the La Nuit Trésor fragrances.
Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs – Daisy Dream – Twinkle Edition – 50 ml – € 73,33
Category: floral fruity
Time: day
Top note: Sour Cherry
Heart notes: White flowers
Base notes: Milk Mousse, Wild Berries
Ultra Violet is chosen as thé color of the year, and Marc Jacobs knows it! Daisy Dream is the perfect fragrance for spring: soft, sweet and a bit creamy. It definitely also has one of the prettiest bottles. You basically can’t ever go wrong with a Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance!
Viktor&Rolf
Viktor&Rolf – Flowerbomb Nectar – Eau de Parfum – 50 ml – € 100,-
Category: oriental flower
Time: day & night
Top note: Cassis, Bergamot, Gunpowder
Heart notes: Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Osmanthus
Base notes: Benzoin, Vanilla and Tonka Bean
There is a new flowerbomb in town and trust me it smells amazing! How is this flowerbomb different form the original one? Just like the name says, it’s intenser but also sweeter in a mature way. It’s extremly long lasting on your skin, even after 12 hours I can still smell it.
The following two fragrances are not new, but since they fit the spring theme so perfectly, I still decided to add them in this article!
DKNY
DKNY – Nectar Love – Eau de Parfum – 50 ml – € 66,00
Category: oriental floral
Time: day
Top notes: Grapefruit, Mandarin Orange, Nectarine, Yellow freesia and Solar notes
Heart notes: Jasmine, Lily-of-the-valley and Mirabelle
Base notes: Beeswax, Cedar, Vanilla, Musk and Neroli
Nectar Love from DKNY has launched last year, and I can’t believe I haven’t tried it sooner since I love nectarine notes in fragrances. It’s fresh and warm with a bit of musk as well. If you like Dolce&Gabbana The One (my signature fragrance), then you will love this one too! It’s the perfect combination of vanilla, honey and nectarine.
Jo Malone
Jo Malone – Mimosa & Cardamom Cologne – 100 ml – € 106,00
Category: oriental floral
Time: day
Top note: Cardamom
Heart note: Mimosa
Base note: Tonka Bean
When it comes down to Jo Malone London fragrances, I find them to be very different compared to other fragrances on the market, such as the typical high street perfume that I usually review and wear. Jo Malone London fragrances have a much more natural scent, which makes them so easy to wear. Especially the Mimosa & Cardamom fragrance gives me a very warm and comforting feeling, I love to use it during the day when I’m working at home or when I’m going to get a coffee. Even though it’s a warm and creamy fragrance, it still has a hint of freshness, which makes it perfect for the spring season!
I never tried any of these but I really want to test the Lancome, Daisy, Joe Malone, Chloe & Chanel (yeah that’s a lot) 🙂
